　” Don’t cry for me, Argentina “這首歌是百老匯舞台劇《 Evita 艾薇塔 》中最膾炙人口的一首歌，作曲者便是鼎鼎大名的 Andrew Lloyd Webber 安德魯洛伊韋伯。

　《 艾薇塔 》的劇情是描述阿根廷第一夫人伊娃裴隆（Eva Peron）的一生。1919 年 11 月 21 日她生於阿根廷的小鄉村洛托多，十九歲到首都布宜諾斯艾利斯發展演藝事業，廿六歲認識裴隆上校，並成為他的第二任妻子。1946 年裴隆當選阿根廷總統，她出任勞工部長，成立伊娃裴隆基金會，組織裴隆黨的婦女黨部。1951 年她企圖搭檔競選副總統，遭到軍方反對，隔年因為子宮癌過世，年僅卅三歲。
